Introducing
Cross Section
Cross Section is a peer reviewed journal dedicated to the pursuits of undergraduate research students. It is refereed by students in Foundations in Science Education at Weber State University, and edited by Adam Johnston. Although this project is a class exercise, the vast majority of the direction of this effort is in the hands of undergraduate science students. They do everything from determining the research questions to reviewing each others' works. The editor simply coordinates these efforts, sets due dates, and sets everything in motion towards a final product. Because this is both the work of first time researchers and because it is a learning experience, there is sure to be some rough edges; but this is all work for which students are completely responsible.
Puruse what the journal is about, the call for papers, or more contact information. The first volume of the journal (2007) is now available as well.
